WWE SmackDown Preview And Match Card: The upcoming WWE SmackDown episode will have the follow up storylines on board after the thrilling action that was witnessed at the WWE Summerslam this past weekend.
Ths popular pay-per-view edged its place in the history books, being the biggest and the first-ever two-night SummerSlam, a format previously reserved only for WrestleMania. The fallout show of WWE SmackDown is all set to air live from the Ball Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Multiple top names, including John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Tiffany Stratton, Jacob Fatu, and La Knight, are being advertised for the show.

John Cena to make appearance
Having lost his title at SummerSlam, John Cena will make the much-awaited appearance at the WWE SmackDown. The 17-time WWE World Champion will likely address Brock Lesnar’s attack on him.
Notably, Lesnar made his shocking return to WWE during SummerSlam 2025. He arrived when Cena was about to leave the ring after losing his title to Cody Rhodes. Lesnar kept staring at Cena as he entered the ring. He hit the 17-time world champion with an F5 before leaving the ring. They are now set to square off in a future premium live event.

New champion Cody Rhodes to address WWE universe
Having finaly lifted the WWE title, Cody Rhodes will extremely happy when he will come out at SmackDown to address the WWE universe. Rhodes defeated John Cena in the rematch from WrestleMania 41 to win the title. The match took place on the main event of Night 2 of SummerSlam 2025.

It is to be noted that the match between Cena and Lesnar might not take place at Clash in Paris. The veteran could likely face-off at Crown Jewel which is scheduld to take place in October. Oftenly called as ‘The Beast’ Lesnar has been associated with WWE on a part-time basis since 2012 and makes a few appearances.
His last WWE appearance came during the SummerSlam 2023 when he faced Cody Rhodes.
