All government and private schools will remain closed in Bulandshahr from 3 to 6 November. Due to Ganga Snan Mela and Guru Nanak Jayanti, Basic Education Officer has declared a holiday of four days. Schools will reopen from November 7.
November is starting with holidays for the students of Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh. District Basic Education Officer (BSA) has issued an order saying that all government and private schools in the district will remain closed from November 3 to November 6. There will be holiday in schools for four days due to Ganga Snan Mela and Guru Nanak Jayanti.
Students benefit from festivals and Ganga bathing fair
According to the issued notification, holiday has been declared in council, aided, recognized, primary and upper primary schools. During this period, teaching work will be completely closed. Officials say that this decision was taken so that teachers, staff and students can fully enjoy the festivals and Ganga Snan Mela.

Public holiday on Guru Nanak Jayanti on 5th November.
The birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji will be celebrated with great pomp across the country on 5th November. On this occasion, there will be a public holiday in all government offices, banks and educational institutions of the state. The Sikh community celebrates this day with great devotion and enthusiasm. This time, due to the birth anniversary falling on Monday, the holidays will continue from November 4 to November 6.

According to the orders of Basic Education Department,
- All government schools from class 1 to 8
- Aided and Recognized Schools
- Private primary schools in the city area
There will be holiday for all of them for four days. All schools will reopen at normal times on November 7.
How many holidays in total in November?
There will be a total of 5 Sundays weekly holiday in the month of November. Apart from this, November 25 has also been declared a holiday on Guru Tegh Bahadur Martyrdom Day. This means that throughout the month, students will get many opportunities for rest along with studies.
What did the administration say?
District Basic Education Officer said that instructions have been issued to all the schools. After the holidays, attendance and teaching work will resume normally in all schools.
