Isha Talwar’s rise to fame in Bollywood can be attributed to her excellent performances, which always left a mark on the viewers. From starting her career in Malayalam cinema to playing pivotal characters in Bollywood, Isha Talwar has come a long way. Movies like Article 15, Tubelight and Kaalakaandi have helped her prove her mettle. But popular web series like Mirzapur, Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo, Indian Police Force and others gave her the right opportunity to showcase her talent. However, just like every newcomer, the actress also had to go through some tough situations in life.
Isha Talwar recently commented under a publication house’s Instagram post and accused the casting director Shanoo Sharma of putting her in a weird spot during her audition. Shanoo Sharma, who is currently enjoying the praise for casting Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara, is also known for discovering talents like Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh, Parineeti Chopra, Bhumi Pednekar and others.

Mirzapur actress Isha Talwar took the opportunity to share her ‘weird experience’ and commented under an Instagram post. A part of her note read, “So when I started auditioning for roles with Shanoo… I was told to perform a scene at a restaurant called Mia cucina in Versova, Bombay… a CRYING scene in the middle of a busy working restaurant…It was such a confusing/weird ask… It shattered my confidence as a young girl in films.”
The actress continued to share her experience and added, “I couldn’t understand why a senior casting director needed to put a young girl through this…Anyway, just putting this story a decade later for all the newcomers to tell you that feel no pressure… I do remember saying I can’t do it, and of course, I never got the role … but at least I didn’t give in to the weird ask and surely didn’t cry at a restaurant for a role!!!!!” a part of her note read.
