Women’s World Cup Final 2025 Prize Money: India has won the title of Women’s ODI World Cup 2025. Won the World Cup trophy for the first time by defeating South Africa by 52 runs in the final match played in Navi Mumbai. Team India, batting first after losing the toss, had set a target of 299 runs, in response to which the African batting collapsed for 246 runs. The Indian team was successful in doing this due to the excellent all-round performance of Shefali Verma and Deepti Sharma. Deepti became the player of the tournament. After this victory, it has rained money on the team led by Harmanpreet Kaur.
Money rains on world champion women’s team India
ICC has showered money on Team India, which won the final of Women’s World Cup 2025. Along with the trophy, money was also received. World champion India has received 4.48 million dollars i.e. about Rs 39.55 crore. This amount is four times more than the amount received in the previous edition i.e. 2022. Last time champion Australia got 1.32 million dollars i.e. 11.65 crore rupees in the World Cup held in New Zealand. The prize money for all the teams together is Rs 122.5 crore. Interestingly, this prize money is more than that of Men’s World Cup 2023 (10 million dollars i.e. Rs 88.26 crore).
Team India will also get a big reward from BCCI
Indian women’s team will now get huge amount of money from BCCI. Before this final match, it was announced that the winning team India would get more than Rs 100 crore. When Team India won the 2024 World Cup title under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, they received a total amount of Rs 125 crore from BCCI. This amount was distributed among all the players and support staff. The names of assistant coaches and other members were also included in the list. Now women have a great opportunity to get big money along with the trophy.

Money rained on South Africa too
South Africa, the losing team in the final, has also been given a huge amount as reward. Even though Laura Walvert’s team stayed away from the trophy, ICC has not given any reduction in the money. The prize money of 2.24 million dollars i.e. Rs 19.77 crore was fixed for the runner-up team, which will now go to Africa. The team performed brilliantly throughout the tournament and made it to the finals by defeating England in the semi-finals.
Other teams received prize money
Apart from India and South Africa, funds have also been given to other teams. England and Australia, who lost in the semi-finals, got Rs 1.12 million i.e. Rs 9.89 crore, all the teams who won in the group stage got Rs 30.29 lakh, 5th and 6th placed teams got 62 lakh, 7th and 8th placed teams got Rs 24.71 lakh and all the participating teams got Rs 22 lakh.
