Especially after the way CM Dhami implemented the Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand, he was constantly discussed across the country. The Bharatiya Janata Party also included the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code in the country as a guarantee in its manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections. When the forests of Uttarakhand started blazing in early May, Dhami left his election engagements and returned to Dehradun and held high-level meetings at the secretariat.
