Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan, the King of Bollywood, is celebrating his 60th birthday, and fans cannot keep calm. Thousands of fans gathered outside the actor’s house, Mannat, hoping to catch a glimpse of him and wish him a happy birthday from afar.

In addition to fans from across the country, SRK admirers from the United Kingdom, Japan, Nepal, and Indonesia gathered outside the actor’s house. They held placards, sang songs and chanted his name. Videos of international fans were shared online.

One video showed a mother and daughter duo. They referred to themselves as lifelong SRK fans. Speaking to ANI, the woman stated, “We have been big fans of Shah Rukh for 12 years. I am an artist, and he knows me. He has mentioned me on several occasions. I have met him three times.” Further, the duo recited the actor’s iconic dialogue, “Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi, namumkin hai.” They also sang Tujhe Dekha To Ye Jana Sanam from the movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.

The crowd also consisted of some fans from Japan. They carried a massive poster and shared, “We came all the way from Japan just to celebrate with other fans here at Mannat.” One fan from Dubai stated, “We have come from Dubai just to celebrate Shah Rukh Khan and his birthday. We love him and wish him good health, long life, and happiness.”

Meanwhile, a group of fans from Kolkata named “SRK Warriors” took a 33-hour-long train journey to reach Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat.

“We hoped he would come out today. We are sure we’ll see him either today or tomorrow. Thousands wanted to come, but police restrictions made it difficult. Still, we somehow managed to reach here,” said the fan.

Every year, Shah Rukh Khan steps out onto Mannat’s balcony to greet his fans.
