Patna DM Thiagarajan MS
Thiagarajan MS is a 2011 batch IAS officer of Bihar cadre. He is originally from Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. Thiagarajan became an IAS after becoming a doctor. He first obtained MBBS degree from Coimbatore Medical College in the year 2008. After this, he decided to make a career in civil services and started preparing for UPSAC. First he became IPS in 2010 and then IAS in 2011. After training, the first administrative journey started from Purnia district of Bihar. After this he served as DM in Patna, Bihar Sharif, Nalanda etc. districts. Now currently serving as Collector of Patna. Thiagarajan is known as a tough decision making and honest officer.

SSP Karthikeya Sharma has played the biggest role in the arrest of Bihar’s strong leader Anant Kumar Singh. Presently Karthikeya Sharma is posted as SSP of Patna. Who is IPS of Bihar cadre of 2014 batch. He is originally from Jharkhand. He too was in another field before becoming IPS. He did B.Tech and Post Graduate Diploma in Management course. But later decided to work in police and cleared UPSC. He has reduced crimes by arresting many famous criminals of Bihar. He became the SSP (Senior Superintendent of Police) of Patna in June 2025. Before this he had worked as SSP in Purnia district.
