Top 5 Electric Scooters to Buy in India: The retail sales figures are out for the first seven months of CY2025, and the Indian electric two-wheeler (e-2W) segment has recorded a 12 per cent YoY (year-over-year) increase in retail sales compared to the corresponding period of CY2024 (Vahan data). The e-2W segment clocked 7,08,905 units in the first seven months of the current calendar year, whereas the cumulative seven-month retail sales stood at 6,35,786 for CY2024.

Market leader TVS Motor Company registered 22,000-plus sales last month, retaining its top position for the fourth consecutive month. At the same time, Bajaj Auto and Hero MotoCorp pumped up the sales with 11 and 107 per cent YoY growth, respectively. In July 2025, these three OEMs – TVS, Bajaj, and Hero – sold 22,242 iQubes, 19,669 Chetaks, and 10,495 Vidas, respectively. With over 10,000 electric scooters sold, Hero registered its best-ever monthly sales in July 2025. However, Ola Electric, which led the charge early on, sold just 17,850 units: down by 57 per cent YoY compared to July 2024’s 41,801 units.

Therefore, it can be said that strong market leadership has added tailwinds to the traditional brands such as Bajaj, TVS, and Hero. Keeping this in mind and given that the festive season is approaching, we have tabulated the top 5 electric scooters for 2025.
