Rajasthan Viral Video: A tragic incident that occurred in the Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan has shocked and angered people nationwide. For two days, August 2 and 3, over 25 stray dogs were brutally shot to death; the horrifying incident was caught on camera. The video quickly went viral on social media, sparking widespread indignation and demands for justice. The cruelty took place in Kumawas village, where the main accused, identified as Sheochand Bavaria from Dumra village, was seen wandering around unhindered with a rifle.
In the viral video, he and another man can be seen riding motorcycles through the village, chasing and shooting stray dogs in the eerie video. A third person, on a separate bike, appears to be filming the entire attack. The footage is deeply disturbing. The viral video has drawn sharp criticism from animal lovers, local residents, and welfare organisations, all calling for immediate and strict punishment for those responsible.
According to Superintendent of Police Brijesh Jyoti Upadhyay, an investigation began on August 4 after the video surfaced online. A case has been filed under the Indian Penal Code and the Arms Act. While the prime accused remains on the run, police say they are working to track him down and are also investigating the role of the other men seen in the video.

The video shared on X (Formerly Twitter) by the handle ‘gharkekalesh‘ yesterday pulled 129k views from people. “This is so cruel of that man!! Insaaniyat hi nhibachihaiduniyamein or fir bolengekuttekhrbhotehai, but people really need to understand koi insaan ya jaanvaracchaburanhihotaaapjaisa treat kroge wo bhiaapkowaisa hi treat krega,” a user wrote.
“Absolutely horrifying and beyond inhuman. This isn’t just cruelty — it’s pure evil. Justice must be swift and uncompromising,” a second user wrote. “Public mistrust of administration is intensifying incidences of citizens taking the law into their own hands, which should never happen. Thar driver is thrashing, this dog killing spree. Something pondered upon,” added a third user.

“He might have lost a loved one due to rabies, and that’s like one of the worst ways a person can die. If the government refuses to do anything about the Stray dog issues, then unfortunately, these types of instances will occur again,” a fourth user wrote. “There must be a strong reason for his action! He must be in pain and vengeance,” added another user.
