Bihar News: Red, Patna to Jehanabad at 3 locations of DSP. DSP Sanjeev Kumar Vigilance Raid Illegal Assets

DSP Sanjeev Kumar Raid: Special Vigilance Unit continues against the corrupt people of Bihar. The Special Vigilance Unit is conducting simultaneous raids on three cities of Patna, Khagaria and Jehanabad of DSP Sanjeev Kumar of Jehanabad on Friday morning.

Patna News: As part of the ongoing campaign against corruption in Bihar, the Special Vigilance Unit (SVU) raided several locations of DSP Sanjeev Kumar posted in Jehanabad on Friday morning. This action is related to the disproportionate assets case, in which he is accused of acquiring illegal assets worth more than 1.52 crores.

Raid simultaneously in Patna, Khagaria and Jehanabad

The Vigilance Unit has registered a case of disproportionate assets against DSP Sanjeev Kumar. For a thorough investigation of the case, the unit started raids simultaneously at their different locations in Patna, Khagaria and Jehanabad. The raids at all three places are in the hands of DSP level officials, so that action can be completed effectively.

Search for important documents and property

The vigilance unit hopes that during this raid they can find many important documents, information related to bank accounts and property related papers, which will prove to be helpful in proving the illegal earnings of DSP Sanjeev Kumar. At present, investigation is going on at all the locations and the teams of the Vigilance Unit are investigating the entire matter thoroughly. This action is proving to be clear that the zero tolerance policy of the government against corruption is going on and any officer, irrespective of the post, is not out of the scope of investigation. The incident has once again exposed the corruption prevailing in government officials in Bihar.
