Covid vaccine and heart attack
In Hassan district of Karnataka, more than 20 people died of heart attack within a month. Most of them were youth. Hassan’s administration is unable to understand why suddenly so many deaths are happening due to heart disease. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of the state Siddaramaiah has created a new controversy by presenting a heart attack and the theory of Kovid vaccine. He has questioned the Kovid vaccine. But is there any relationship between vaccine and heart attack? ICMR has also presented its report about this.
Several medical institutions, including ICMR and AIIMS, have studied on the increasing cases of heart attack and cardiac arrest after the vaccine. Research by ICMR states that there has been no relation of heart attack after the covid vaccine. ICMR has said that the vaccine is safe and has no serious side effects.
ICMR and NCDC are working together to understand the cause of sudden deaths from heart attack. So far, two studies have come from their behalf. The study in May 2023 stated that the Covid vaccine does not increase the risk of sudden death. Now in the second study, ICMR has said that the covid vaccine is not related to heart disease. Heart disease is due to bad lifestyle and wrong eating habits.
Then what is the cause of the deaths of a sudden heart attack?
Dr. Ajit Jain in Cardiology Department at Rajiv Gandhi Hospital in Delhi It is said that most people have been infected with the corona virus. Due to this virus, people are getting Silent Myocarditis. Because of this, there is swelling in the heart muscle, which can be severe over time. Due to the virus, some people are getting clot in the heart. Which can cause heart attack or stroke.
Dr. Jain says that the deaths of heart attacks in the last few years have also caused blood clot in the body. These problems have been seen in many patients. It is a matter of concern that blood clots are being made at any age and no initial symptoms are visible. Even if you see a person fit from outside, but maybe he has this problem.
Dr. Jain says that this problem of becoming a clot is due to the Kovid virus. There is no connection with the vaccine to have heart disease. This has not been found in any research.
These are the reasons for increasing heart attack cases
Dr. Jain says that apart from this, there are many reasons for increasing heart disease cases. Among them, mental stress, lack of sleep and increasing trend of eating junk food, smoking is also a big risk factor. Joe Ajit says that ICMR and DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services) have made it clear that Kovid vaccines are completely safe. In the sudden cardiac deaths, not the role of the vaccine, but the effect of the corona virus and lifestyle can be more responsible.
