Leader of Opposition and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi really exploded to vote theft on Thursday 7 August. He proved how votes were stolen in Haryana, Maharashtra and Karnataka by giving evidence.
He blamed India’s Election Commission (ECI) and BJP’s Nexus (alliance) for this. Taking a scathing attack on the Election Commission (EC), Congress MP Rahul Gandhi alleged that the Commission had connivated the BJP to rigged elections in the country.
More than 1 lakh fake voters in Mahadevpura
“An internal investigation conducted by the Congress found more than one lakh fake voters, illegal addresses and a large number of voters in the Mahadevpura constituency of Karnataka,” he said. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, there was a close fight in Bangalore Central. Congress candidate Mansoor Ali Khan maintained an edge in most of the counting of votes, but in the final results, BJP’s PC Mohan won by a slight margin of 32,707 votes.
Why not give electronic voter list
Rahul also raised doubts over the Election Commission not providing the voter list in electronic form and said that doing so would reveal the “fraud” of the Commission within 30 seconds. He said, “This is a challenge. It’s a seven -foot paper. If I have to find out whether you have voted twice or your name is two times in the voter list, I have to take your picture and then compare it with every piece of paper. It is a very tired process.”
Arrangement to stop checking voter data
He further alleged that the Election Commission is deliberately providing “documents that cannot be read by machine” so that political parties could not check voter data. “It took us six months in this work (claim of Mahadevpura).
“He also questioned how most exit polls proved to be wrong in predicting the results of Haryana and Maharashtra. Many exit polls predicted the victory of Congress in Haryana and Mahayuti in Maharashtra. He said,” Exit poll, opinion poll says one thing … You saw in Haryana elections, Maharashtra elections, and then suddenly the results were completely different. “
