The movie is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by British author Richard Osman and follows a group of retirees who spend their time solving cold cases. The Thursday Murder Club On Netflix

The Thursday Murder Club features a star-studded cast. Helen Mirren, known for her powerful performances, plays former spy Elizabeth Best. Pierce Brosnan, who famously portrayed James Bond, takes on a very different role as Ron Ritchie, a retired union activist with a rough edge. Ben Kingsley plays Ibrahim, an ex-psychiatrist, while Celia Imrie portrays Joyce, a sweet but sharp retired nurse. Joining them are Doctor Who star David Tennant, Naomi Ackie, Daniel Mays, Tom Ellis, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, and Jonathan Pryce.
