Kapil Sharma’s Kap’s Cafe In Canada Targeted By Gunmen; Lawrence Bishnoi Group Claims Responsibility

In a shocking repeat incident, Kap’s Cafe in Surrey, Canada, owned by popular Indian comedian and TV host Kapil Sharma, was targeted by gunfire early Thursday morning. Located at the intersection of 85 Avenue and Scott Road, the café suffered extensive damage, with at least six bullet holes and shattered windows reported.

A disturbing video from the scene captured the sound of gunshots and a threatening voice stating, “We had called the target, but he didn’t hear the ring, so we had to take action. If he still doesn’t hear the ring, the next action will be taken soon in Mumbai.” 

Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Takes Responsibility

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has reportedly taken responsibility for the attack, with the threat being shared publicly on social media. A social media post claims that gangster Goldy Dhillon, along with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, was behind the recent shooting at Kapil Sharma’s Kap’s Cafe in Surrey. The message warned that, “We tried calling him, but he didn’t respond, so action was taken there. If he still doesn’t listen, the next move will happen in Mumbai.”

The first attack occurred on July 10 when shots were fired at the cafe while some staff members were still inside. Though no one was injured, police found at least 10 bullet holes and shattered glass at the scene. No arrests were made, and investigations into that incident remain ongoing. Surrey Police Service (SPS) had stated that the incident occurred on Thursday, July 10, around 1:50 am (local time), at a business located in the 8400 block of 120 Street. Police confirmed that gunfire was aimed at the establishment, resulting in property damage, while employees were still inside the café at the time of the attack.
