SBI PO 2026 Form: Who can apply?
For SBI PO recruitment, candidates must be graduate in any subject from a recognized university. The good thing is that students who are currently in the last year or final semester of graduation can also apply on provisional basis. However, at the time of interview, they will have to provide proof of passing graduation by 30 September 2026. Candidates with Engineering, Medical, Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant and other professional degrees can also apply.
SBI PO 2026: What should be the age?
The age of the candidate should be minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years as on 1st April 2026. That is, candidates should not be born before 2 April 1996 and after 1 April 2005. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in age limit as per rules.
SBI PO 2026: What is the application fee?
General, EWS, OBC- Rs 750
SC, ST, PwBD- No fees
Application fee once deposited will not be refunded.
How will section be done in SBI PO?
1. Prelims Exam
Total Questions: 100
Total Marks: 100
Exam Duration: 1 hour
New Rule: There is no sectional cutoff in Prelims.
2. Mains Exam
Candidates successful in Prelims will be called for Main Examination.
3. Interview
Candidates who qualify the main exam will appear in the interview round.
SBI PO Exam 2026: Is there negative marking or not?
Negative marking will be applicable for wrong answers in objective test. For every wrong answer, 1/4th of the marks of that question will be deducted. If any question is skipped, there will be no negative marking.
