NEET exam is one of the toughest exams for admission in medical courses to fulfill the dream of becoming a doctor. To pass it, students remain busy studying day and night. Still, many people are unable to pass this exam and give up their dream of becoming a doctor. But here a mother of 4 children started studying again exactly 25 years after leaving her studies and passed the NEET exam in her first attempt at the age of 47. The name of the mother who achieved this feat is Juvana Abdullah from Kerala.
When she got married in 2000, she not only left her home but also left her studies midway for the marriage. When she got married, she was pursuing her Masters in Medical Pharmacology. But 25 years after the birth of 4 children, at the age of 47, he resumed his studies from where he had left off. In 2022, the National Medical Commission removed the age limit condition of 25 years to appear for the NEET exam, which also gave wings to Juvana’s dream.
Her four children are also MBBS students and her husband is also a doctor.
So, after clearing the NEET exam, Juvana is now pursuing Bachelor of Dental Surgery. What’s more special is that all four of her children are also studying MBBS, while her husband is also a doctor. In such a situation, she thought why not she also become a doctor like her husband and children. With this thinking, she decided to give NEET exam and when the result came, she passed. In this way, his dream of becoming a doctor is now on its way to coming true.
Juvana is originally from Kottacherry in Kasaragod. She told that when she went to take the NEET exam at this age, she had a different experience. When she reached the NEET examination center at Periya Polytechnic to take the exam, the security guard there mistook her for the guardian of a student and said that only students are allowed entry here. On this she laughed and said that I am also a student who has come for the examination and went to the examination hall. She said, “Before the exam, I said a small prayer. I was not sure that I would be able to pass the exam, but it was a very old dream of mine and the path to fulfill that dream had opened.”
