Congress President Kharge has demanded a ban on RSS. He described RSS and BJP as the root of the country’s problems. Quoting Sardar Patel, Kharge said that Patel also wanted to ban the Sangh.
New Delhi: Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge has demanded a ban on RSS in the country. Kharge said that the root of all the problems of the country are RSS and BJP. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel played an important role in uniting the country. Indira Gandhi sacrificed her life to maintain that unity. Those who are trying to divide the country are using Sardar’s memory for political gains.
Sardar had clearly said that there is no other option except banning RSS. Patel had said that the environment created by the RSS was responsible for Gandhi’s assassination. Kharge also said that the Sangh Parivar has no right to say that the Congress has forgotten Sardar. Kharge responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s allegations at a press conference in Delhi.
History and truth are being hidden in NCERT textbooks. The ban on government employees becoming active members of RSS was imposed during the time of Vallabhbhai Patel. It has been removed by Modi government. There was a very close relationship between Nehru and Sardar Patel. Kharge said that on the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel, Modi was sitting like a king wearing a British cap, and was sitting alone without the Chief Minister or the Home Minister.
