Pradyumna Chaturthi 2026: Chaturthi Tithi is considered to have special significance in Sanatan Dharma. This date has been dedicated to the remover of obstacles and the first revered Lord Ganesha. Pradyumna Chaturthi is celebrated on the Chaturthi date of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month. Today is Pradyumna Chaturthi. On this day, a fast is observed for Lord Ganesha and he is worshiped with rituals. There is a religious belief that fasting and worshiping Lord Ganesha on Pradyumna Chaturthi brings happiness and prosperity in life.
By the grace of Lord Ganesha, all the troubles and obstacles of life go away. On Pradyumna Chaturthi, there is a combination of two very auspicious yogas like Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga and Guru Pushya Yoga. Guru Pushya Yoga has started today at 05.45 am. Pradyumna Chaturthi puja auspicious time(Pradyumna Chaturthi 2026 Puja Subh Muhurat)
Today Brahma Muhurta started at 04.03 am. Which ended at 04:43 pm. The afternoon puja auspicious time will start at 10.58 am. This auspicious time will last till 01:46 pm. Devotees can worship Ganpati Bappa in this auspicious time. Vijay Muhurta will start at 02:42 pm and will last till 02:38 pm.
Pradyumna Chaturthi puja method (Pradyumna Chaturthi Puja Vidhi)
- On Pradyumna Chaturthi, wake up early in the morning and take bath. Then wear clean clothes.
- After this, clean the worship place of the house.
- Keep the idol or picture of Lord Ganesha in the auspicious time.
- Offer red or yellow flowers to Lord Ganesha.
- Offer them Durva, Sindoor, Akshat and offer Modak.
- After this, chant Ganesh mantras and recite Ganesh Chalisa.
- During the puja, pray to Lord Ganesha for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the family.
- Observe the fast throughout the day and perform aarti again in the evening and give prasad to everyone.
Do not do moon darshan on Pradyumna Chaturthi
Moon darshan is considered prohibited on the day of Pradyumna Chaturthi. It is believed that looking at the moon on this day can bring false stigma or defamation on a person. Therefore do not see the moon today.
