On Wednesday, he signed an Executive Order, under which an additional 25% tariff will be imposed on 25% of the already implemented 25% duty on goods coming from India. Trump also revealed why he is only targeting India while China is also purchasing oil from Russia.

Avon Figanbam, who has worked in the former Republican administration, warned that issues related to India such as Immigration, H1B visa, outsourcing and technology sharing are becoming the most politically explosive issues in the US. He wrote that issues related to India are becoming a football of American domestic politics.
