For the first time in Madhya Pradesh, Medical College, Tikamgarh Hospital became a modern center with 500 beds on PPP mode.

For the first time in Madhya Pradesh, medical colleges are being established on PPP mode. Capacity of Tikamgarh Hospital increased to 500 beds, 810 new posts approved. Modern medical facilities are expanding rapidly in the state.

Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that for the first time in the country, Madhya Pradesh has taken the initiative to establish medical colleges under PPP mode (Public-Private Partnership). The work of establishing these colleges is going on in Dhar, Panna, Katni and Betul districts.

New medical colleges in 9 districts in the second phase

CM Mohan Yadav said that in the second phase, the process of setting up medical colleges is going on in Tikamgarh, Bhind, Morena, Khargone, Ashoknagar, Guna, Balaghat, Sidhi and Shajapur districts. These colleges will expand health services in the state and local youth will get opportunities for medical education.

Health services will be strengthened with the approval of 810 new posts.

With the aim of providing better health facilities to the patients, 810 new posts have been approved for operation of new hospital buildings and additional beds built under various schemes in Tikamgarh, Neemuch, Singrauli, Sheopur and Dindori districts.

Capacity of Tikamgarh District Hospital increased, now 500 beds

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the capacity of Tikamgarh District Hospital has been increased from 300 beds to 500 beds. Approval of 160 new posts has also been given for operating these beds. Last year, a new building with 100 beds was constructed at a cost of Rs 16 crore.

Modern medical facilities now available in Tikamgarh

Now Tikamgarh Hospital will have modern facilities like specialist OPD, emergency services, family welfare services, lab, radiology, trauma care, chemotherapy, dialysis and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) available to the patients. Along with this, services like pre-natal check-up, vaccination, high-risk pregnancy management, safe delivery and family welfare counseling will also be started.

CM Dr. Mohan Yadav’s respect and dialogue with the youth

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the health system of the state will be further strengthened with the expansion of medical facilities in Tikamgarh. He was addressing the youth from Tikamgarh, who honored him by garlanding him, presenting memento and mace. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla and Minister of State Shri Narendra Shivaji Patel were also present on this occasion.
