Janaki Temple Punaura Dham: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will lay the foundation stone of Mata Janaki temple on the lines of Ayodhya’s Ram temple in Punauradham, Bihar on Friday. This temple will include religious and tourism related facilities.
Bihar News: On the lines of the grand Ram temple of Ayodhya, the construction work of Mata Janaki temple is going to start in Punaura Dham of Sitamarhi. On Friday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will lay the foundation stone of the temple complex. Complete preparations have been made to make this grand ceremony particularly grand and holy. In this ceremony, special silver urn from Jaipur, soil of 21 major pilgrimage of India and 31 holy rivers will be brought. Like the Tirupati Balaji Temple in South India, 50 thousand packet laddus are being built here. Expert artisans from South India have also come specially to make laddus. The resolution of these laddus will be done with the water of 11 holy rivers including the Ganges, which will further increase the divinity of the program.
Temple will be built on 67 acres
The temple will be constructed on 67 acres, in which a grand temple will be built 151 feet high, which is planned to be completed by the year 2028. The temple premises will include many modern and cultural facilities for the convenience of devotees. This includes Yagya Mandap, Museum, Auditorium, Cafeteria, playground for children, Dharamshala, Sita Vatika, Lavkush Vatika, Bhajan Sandhya Sthal, Passenger bedroom building, passenger guest house, e-cart station, Mithila Haat, Parking, Road Exhibition and other facilities.
Apart from CM, many union and state ministers will be involved
Historical evidence, facts and stories related to Mata Sita will be displayed in the temple premises, which will also give religious and cultural knowledge to the devotees who come here. Apart from this, Mata Janaki Kund will also be beautified under the program. Apart from Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, many Union and Minister of State will be involved in this grand event. Along with this, a large number of saints and thousands of devotees from all over the country will also be present to witness this historic moment.

The construction of the temple will be spent 882 crore 87 lakh rupees
Bihar Tourism Department has started preparations on a war footing for the construction of this temple so that better arrangements can be made for tourists and devotees. Overall, the project is estimated to cost around ₹ 882 crore 87 lakh. This temple will not only be the center of religious faith, but will also develop tourism and culture of this region. The project will play an important role in getting the cultural heritage of Mithila region globally.
