Ampere, the electric two-wheeler brand of Greaves Electric Mobility, has expanded its entry-level portfolio with the launch of the low-speed Reo VYB electric scooter. Aimed at urban commuting and first-time electric vehicle buyers, this scooter is designed for convenient everyday mobility.
Whether it’s getting to college, running errands, or managing daily routines, Reo VYB keeps you moving with ease.
The scooter, equipped with a Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery, offers a riding range of up to 80 km on a single charge that lasts up to 100,000 km.
Classified as a low-speed electric scooter, the company claims that the Reo VYB electric scooter can reach a top speed of 25 kmph, meaning it does not require a driving licence or vehicle registration under current regulations.

Offered at an introductory price of ₹69,499 (ex-showroom), the all-new Ampere Reo VYB is available in four colour options. You get to choose from Warm White, Pastel Purple, Dark Grey, and Aqua Metallic shades.

In terms of features, the scooter boasts 24 litres of under-seat storage, a colour LCD instrument cluster, and keyless start with a premium key fob.
The Reo VYB also features a front disc brake, LED headlamps and tail lamps. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and a rear damper setup, while propulsion is provided by a hub-mounted electric motor.
Ampere stated that the Reo VYB will be supported by its network of more than 400 service touchpoints across India. The scooter comes with a three-year or 30,000 km warranty.

Part of Greaves Electric Mobility, Ampere manufactures electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers. It also operates manufacturing facilities in cities like Hyderabad, Noida, and Ranipet.
