Ram Bagh is 5 kilometers away from Taj Mahal. This is one of the oldest Mughal gardens, which was built by Babar in 1526. Its original name was Bagh-e-Gulfansha, which later came to be called Aram Bagh. After this the Marathas changed its name to Ram Bagh and till now it is known as Ram Bagh. According to historians, Akbar proposed his third wife here.
