‘Bharat Parv 2025’ on National Unity Day: Statue of Unity will become the center of cultural unity on Sardar Patel Jayanti

‘National Unity Day’ and ‘Bharat Parv 2025’ will be organized on the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Patel in Ekta Nagar, Gujarat. This 15-day program will symbolize Indian culture, art, food and the spirit of unity.

Gandhinagar. On Friday, October 31, on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, ‘National Unity Day’ will be celebrated under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in Ekta Nagar, Gujarat. This event will be organized in collaboration with the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat.

Along with this, ‘Bharat Parv 2025’ will be organized at the Statue of Unity complex from 1 to 15 November 2025. This festival will showcase the unity in diversity of the country and will give new heights to the spirit of ‘One India, Best India’. This year’s Bharat Parv is being organized for the first time outside Delhi, in Ekta Nagar under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel.

Glimpse of ‘Bharat Parv 2025’

‘Bharat Parv 2025’ will be celebrated on a grand scale in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Gujarat Tourism Department and the Department of Youth Services and Cultural Activities, Government of India. This program will bring together the cultural unity, tradition, art and diversity of India on one platform. All the states and union territories of the country will participate in this event which will last for 15 days.

Key Attractions: Confluence of culture, food and handicrafts

  • Cultural Presentations: Every evening, cultural programs will be presented by the duo from the two states on the stage near Dam View Point 1 and Valley of Flowers. There will be a special program on Lord Birsa Munda Jayanti on 15th November.
  • Food Stall: The Jungle Safari will have 45 food stalls and a live studio kitchen offering cuisine from different states.
  • Handicraft Exhibition: 55 handicraft stalls will be set up in the Jungle Safari complex, where traditional and modern artefacts of India will be displayed.
  • Bharat Darshan Pavilion: Pavilions displaying tourist destinations and cultural specialties of different states have been built here.

Cyclothon will conclude

Cyclothon will be organized at the Statue of Unity complex on 16th and 17th November.

  • 16 November: cycling fun ride
  • 17 November: Cyclothon competition, which will be organized by Cycling Federation of India and Sports Department of Gujarat. About 5,000 cyclists from across the country will participate in it.
