Korean actor Don Lee to star in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit: Report

Mumbai: Korean action star Don Lee, also known by the name Ma Dong-seok, will reportedly make his debut in Indian cinema through Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit. The news released by a Korean online portal stated that Lee would play the villain in the movie. The post also referred to Sandeep as one of the “most controversial commercial directors in recent times”.

Lee is known for his action. He is usually seen in tough roles that involve a lot of action. The actor gained international recognition as an actor after he starred in the 2016 zombie thriller Train to Busan. Following the love received abroad, he acted in films like The Roundup, The Gangster, The Outlaws, The Cop, and The Devil.

Meanwhile, Lee recently shared that he was boarding a flight to India.

On Prabhas’s birthday, Sandeep took to Instagram to make a special announcement about the film. He stated, “Happy Birthday Prabhas anna. Presenting a ‘SOUND-STORY’ in five Indian languages straight from the heart, for every fan who’s felt his. Hindi.” The unconventional teaser released has also increased anticipation among movie lovers.

The movie features Prabhas in the role of an IPS officer. He ends up in prison under the supervision of Prakash Raj. Going further, Prabhas gets into a tiff with a strict warden who operates by his own set of rules. Prabhas’s clash with the jailor is believed to be one of the movie’s high points.

Triptii Dimri is acting opposite Prabhas in the film. Prakash Raj, Vivek Oberoi, and veteran actress Kanchan are all known to play pivotal characters in the movie.
