A painful accident occurred on Thursday in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir. A bus carrying 23 CRPF jawans fell uncontrollably and fell into a deep ditch. Two soldiers have died in this accident.
A major accident took place on 7 August in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir. A bus carrying 23 CRPF personnel fell into a ditch. The accident took place near Basantgarh on Khandar Kudwa Road, when the balance of the bus deteriorated and it fell into a deep ditch. Many soldiers are expected to be killed in this accident. Relief and rescue operations continue rapidly. Relief teams have reached the spot.

Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh has expressed concern over the accident. Sharing the post on social media x, he wrote, “The news of the CRPF vehicle accident in Udhampur is very sad. Our brave soldiers were riding in the bus. I have just talked to Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai, who is keeping an eye on the situation herself and giving me updates.”
