In Sweden, a 61-year-old husband was jailed for 4 years and 5 months for forcing his wife to have sex with 100+ men. He was found guilty of threats and assault. 28 other people involved in sexual exploitation were also punished.
Stockholm: A Swedish court has sentenced a 61-year-old man to jail for threatening his own wife and forcing her to sleep with more than 100 men. He will have to spend four years and five months in jail. Hernösand Court located on the east coast of Sweden gave this decision. The court found the accused guilty of attempted rape, assault, intimidation and instigating prostitution. Apart from this, the court has also punished 28 other people who sexually exploited the woman by paying money.
This case is from Ångermanland, Sweden. The accused argued in the court that he had not done anything wrong and all this was happening with mutual consent, in which he was just helping. But, the court accepted the argument of the government lawyer that the accused had brutally exploited the woman. Due to security reasons, the identities of both the victim and the accused have not been revealed.
This horrifying sequence took place at his isolated farm house in Kramfors, eastern Sweden. This brutality started in 2022 and continued till October 2025, until the woman complained to the police. The accused used to give drugs to his wife. He used to control the woman by taking advantage of her loneliness and few friends at home. The government lawyer told the court that he also kept a constant watch on her through the CCTV cameras installed in the house.
According to the prosecution, the husband used to threaten his wife that if she did not obey him, he would kill her, douse her with petrol, burn her and cut off her fingers. The woman escaped through a path to escape the sight of the cameras in the house and informed the police about this.
The investigation report also revealed that the husband used to make his wife perform sexual acts in front of the camera and also stream it online. The court found that he used pressure to find more customers and also instigated neighbors to have sex. The judge said that he used to force his wife to do all this by abusing and mentally torturing her.
However, due to lack of solid evidence, the court acquitted him of 8 rape cases. Apart from the jail sentence, the court has also ordered him to pay a compensation of Rs 2,00,000 (approximately Rs 16 lakh) to the victim. Authorities had identified 120 people in this case, but chargesheet was filed against only 29. Of these, 28 people were proven guilty, two of whom have been sentenced to jail by the court.
