Due to this, cold has knocked in Delhi-NCR and the temperature is continuously falling. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of light drizzle in many districts of Delhi-NCR and UP. The feeling of slight cold in the morning and evening has increased in the capital and people are now seen wearing sweaters and shawls. At the same time, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many parts of UP and Rajasthan. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be very heavy rain at isolated places in eastern Rajasthan on October 30. Apart from this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain over Kerala, Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Telangana.
There is a possibility of heavy rain in many states
Severe cyclone Montha has now weakened, but its impact is still visible in many states. 61 trains running between Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal and Jharkhand had to be cancelled. Crops have been damaged in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar due to rain. The paddy crop standing in the fields has fallen, while potatoes and other vegetables have started rotting. It has been raining continuously for two days in Rajasthan, due to which the fields got flooded and the crops got spoiled. There is a possibility of delay in sowing of potatoes in Uttar Pradesh also. There has been rain and drizzle at many places in Bihar also. Rain was recorded in Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Siwan, Aurangabad, Bhabhua, Buxar, Sitamarhi and East Champaran. Apart from this, light rain has also occurred in Kosi and Seemanchal districts. Rain continues in Ranchi, Gumla, Lohardaga and Hazaribagh of Jharkhand also.

Effect of Montha still continues
The impact of Cyclone ‘Montha’ is still continuing in Odisha. Strong winds blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour along with light to moderate rain are occurring in the capital Bhubaneswar, Khurda, Cuttack, Puri, Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur districts. The state’s coastal districts of West Godavari, Konaseema and Kakinada witnessed strong winds reaching speeds of up to 70 km per hour after the landfall on Tuesday evening. Many houses and huts have been damaged due to this. The administration has warned fishermen not to venture into the sea and relief and rescue teams have been deployed.
