Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed a program in Lucknow on Wednesday. During this, he distributed appointment letters to 930 newly selected Computer Operators (Grade-A) and emphasized on the transparent recruitment process of the state government. CM Yogi said that the government has ensured a fair and transparent recruitment process in the last few years. He also mentioned the large scale of recent recruitments in the police force.

  • The Chief Minister said, “We completed the recruitment process with complete transparency… Today we are distributing appointment letters to 930 computer operators. You must have seen the examination recently held for about 35,000 police officers. 28 lakh youth had applied for it.”
  • Referring to previous recruitments, he further said, “Earlier, we had also conducted exams for 41,000 home guards. In the last 9 years, 2.25 lakh police personnel have been recruited in different phases.”

Government job without recommendation in UP?

  • Emphasizing on the principles of governance, CM Yogi said, “No recommendations, no discrimination. To establish the rule of law and achieve the goals of good governance, we have to start from here.”
  • CM Yogi Adityanath also emphasized that Uttar Pradesh Police has created a new identity for itself in the entire country.

There was an average riot every two-three days, and curfews were in place for months. Violence would break out before festivals, and even police officers were not safe… How could one imagine the safety of a common citizen in such a situation.”

CM Yogi’s big decision on NEET-UG 2026

  • Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced 50 percent discount in bus fare for students appearing for the re-examination of NEET-UG 2026. He also issued instructions regarding Muharram, International Yoga Day celebrations and administrative work across the state.
  • The Chief Minister announced that students appearing for the re-examination of NEET-UG 2026 to be held on June 21 will be given 50 percent concession in bus fare to reach the examination centres.
  • Reviewing preparations for the upcoming International Yoga Day, which is celebrated across the world on June 21, the Chief Minister said celebrations would be organized in all 57,000 gram panchayats and 762 urban local bodies of the state.
  • The Chief Minister also issued guidelines ahead of Muharram, celebrated on June 26, and stressed that the occasion should be celebrated with complete seriousness and discipline. (ANI)
