A woman has raised serious questions on safety and privacy by sharing a bad experience she had during delivery with Blinkit. In a long post on LinkedIn, she alleged that when a delivery partner brought a sexual health product to her home, he made sexual and lewd comments. The woman said she was shaken by the incident, especially because the delivery person knew her address. His post has now sparked a huge online debate in India on women’s safety, privacy during delivery and taboos related to sexual health products.
The woman told that this incident happened at around 1:35 pm. She said that she is even more troubled by this because she has been using this app for years and her experience has always been good. He told in his post that that day he had ordered a sexual wellness product from the delivery app. The delivery partner called him before coming and asked where he was.
He asked, “Mam, Blinkit is on order, where are you?” The woman replied normally, “I am at home brother, you ring the bell.” But as soon as she opened the door, she became uncomfortable with the way the delivery person was staring at her. He quickly took the packet and closed the door. After some time, he noticed that the package was not sealed properly. Before she could understand anything, she got a call again, allegedly from the same delivery partner.
According to his post, he first asked, “Mam, what is this?” He replied, “Whatever happens to you?” This is where the conversation allegedly turned nasty. The woman claimed that the delivery partner then said, “Why are you using all this, ma’am, use me… I will give you a lot of fun.”
She claimed that she became numb after hearing these words. The woman said that the scariest thing in this situation was to understand that the person who made such comments also knew her exact home address. When they threatened to report him immediately, he apologized. However, she said an apology was not enough to address the fear and anxiety she was feeling.
The woman said Blinkit customer service representatives immediately registered her complaint and assured her that something would be done. However, he openly raised many questions in his post. He questioned what measures were in place for the safety of women in such circumstances and why such a sensitive order was sent without being properly sealed. He directly tagged Blinkit and asked what action would be taken against the delivery partner and why the package was open in the first place.

Along with the post, he also shared two pictures as proof of the incident. One photo showed the delivery package partially opened, revealing the product as the paper bag appeared to be unsealed. The second picture was a screenshot of his conversation with Blinkit customer support.
