German team encountered a snake
The captain of that team, Joshua Kimmich, told about the snake coming out in the training camp of Germany in an interview given to BBC Sports. The German captain told that he saw the snake in the training camp. He was told that the snake was so poisonous that if bitten, he would have to go straight to the hospital. According to the German captain, snake venom may not kill but it is certainly dangerous.
Norway and Switzerland also expressed concern
The German captain and his teammate narrowly escaped the encounter with the snake. But, Germany is not the only team to express concern about snakes during the FIFA World Cup 2026. Norway and Switzerland are also worried about snakes there. The Swiss team has also received strict instructions not to go out of their training camp at all, because the area where their training camp is located is full of poisonous snakes.
