Pakistan Cricket Controversy: A new controversy has arisen in Pakistan cricket. The reason behind this uproar is the rebellion of Mohammad Rizwan. Pakistan’s wicketkeeper batsman has taken a big decision against PCB. According to reports, he has refused to sign the central contract of Pakistan Cricket Board. A total of 30 players from Pakistan have been included in the central contract. But, till now only 29 players have signed that contract. Rizwan is the only one who has not signed the agreement yet.
Why did Mohammad Rizwan rebel?
Now the question is what is the reason for this decision of Mohammad Rizwan? Why did he refuse to sign PCB’s central contract? The reason behind this rebellious attitude of Rizwan is being said to be his drop from Pakistan’s T20 team. According to reports, before signing the central contract, Mohammad Rizwan has asked the Pakistan Cricket Board about his removal from the T20 team.
According to the report of local media of Pakistan, Mohammad Rizwan not only has objection on being removed from the T20 team, apart from that he has also made some additional demands for the future. However, it has not been revealed what demands Rizwan has placed before the PCB before signing the central contract.
PCB also removed him from ODI captaincy
Recently, Mohammad Rizwan was suddenly removed from the captaincy of Pakistan’s ODI team. PCB had also taken that decision without giving any reason. That too when Rizwan’s record as ODI captain was excellent. Under his captaincy, Pakistan won series in places like Australia and South Africa. PCB removed Mohammad Rizwan and made Shaheen Shah Afridi the captain.

Now when the Pakistan team was announced for the T20 series against South Africa, the PCB excluded Mohammad Rizwan from that also without informing anything. Fed up with these capricious actions of the Pakistan Cricket Board, the wicketkeeper batsman was forced to rebel. And, in return for this, before signing the central contract, Rizwan has sought clarification from the PCB on excluding himself from the T20 team.
