New Delhi, 28 October 2025: BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi targeted the opposition alliance INDIA regarding the second phase of SIR (Special Intensive Revision). Naqvi said, “Nobody can stop the ongoing process of constitutional purification of the voter list. If you think that you can hijack the constitutional process, then it is your misconception.” This statement of Naqvi is being considered as a direct counterattack on the INDIA alliance’s opposition to SIR.
