Healthy Nutrition Namkeen Recipe for Winter
Material :
1 cup puffed rice ½ cup chana dal (roasted) ½ cup moong dal (roasted) ¼ cup almonds ¼ cup cashew nuts 2 tbsp sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds 1 tbsp sesame seeds 2 tbsp dried coconut pieces 1 tsp turmeric 1 tsp black pepper powder 1 tbsp desi ghee Rock salt or plain salt as per taste
Method of making salt:
First of all, heat desi ghee in a pan. Add almonds, cashews, seeds and coconut pieces and fry until light golden. Now add roasted pulses to it and keep stirring on low flame for 2 minutes. After this add puffed rice, turmeric, salt and black pepper and mix everything well. Turn off the gas and let it cool. Once it cools completely, fill it in an airtight jar.
