Anupamaa Controversy: Featuring Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna as the main protagonists Anupama and Anuj Kapadia respectively, Rajan Shahi’s Anupamaa premiered on Star Plus in 2020 and is constantly in the list of highest-rated shows across channels.
Since the beginning, the family drama has been topping the TRP charts and viewers are loving the current episodes.

To make Anupamaa more interesting and entertaining for the loyal fanbase, the makers introduced a five-year leap after which the storyline shifted to the United States after the separation of everyone’s favourite jodi Anupama and Anuj, shipped as MaAn by fans.
In the current storyline, Anuj is engaged to Shruti (Sukirti Kandpal) while Aadya vehemently opposes Anupama and wishes for Anuj to marry Shruti instead. Meanwhile, Anupamaa is deeply engrossed in a cooking competition and endeavors to rescue Yashdeep’s restaurant. In the midst of these events, Anuj invites Anupama to stay with them to assist with Aadya’s panic attacks.
While the storyline is fetching a mixed response, Anupamaa is still fetching high TRPs. Amid all this, there have been speculations that all is not well between the show’s leads Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna.

According to recent reports, a cold war is going on between the duo and they aren’t on talking terms currently. Yes, you read that right! In a recent interview, Anupamaa producer Rajan Shahi opened up about the reports of rift between Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna. Interestingly, he didn’t deny the speculations and cleared that as long as the show isn’t getting affected, he never gets involved in the personal equation between actors.
Reacting to the cold war reports, Rajan Shahi told Telly Talk, “Mai keh raha hun, cold war ho, hot war ho, lukewarm hot ho, jab tak show affect nahi ho raha, meri shooting affect nahi ho rahi, mai ghusta nahi hun. Main actors ki personal (life) mein ghusta hi nahi hun. Haan, agar unke kuch problem ke wajah se meri shooting ruki hai ya kuch issue ho raha ho, phir mai kuch karunga na. And see, actors ka na, first hamara step kya hota hai at DKP, we tell actors aap aapas mei solve karo. Actors ka na, aaj dosti hogi, aaj hasi-mazaak hogi, phir jhagda ho gaya, kal pata chale ki next day hi they’re all friendly together. Toh agar producer ghus gaya, it becomes together.”
