At the same time, people are very angry about this video which has gone viral rapidly and they are calling it police bullying.
It can be seen in the video that the policemen approach the young man and woman sitting in the restaurant. A policeman asks the boy, ‘Who is this?’ The boy replies, ‘She is my sister.’ But the policeman does not listen to him and starts shouting at them. The girl is making a video of this entire incident, on which the policeman threatens her to stop recording. Bihar Police has reshared a statement shared by Katihar Police on X, in which it has been said to give ‘detailed information about the incident that took place in Barsoi police station area of Katihar district’.

The concerned officer has been instructed to clarify this incident. Police say that they had received information about the presence of some anti-social elements in the restaurant, after which they reached there. When the brother and sister were asked for their name and address, they did not cooperate. However, despite this clarification by the police, they are being strongly criticized on social media. Many people are demanding action against the misbehaving policeman.
