Ranveer Singh’s sudden exit from ‘Don 3’ has now become one of the most talked about controversies of Bollywood. FWICE, a major organization of the film industry, has issued non-cooperation instructions against the actor and appealed to the industry not to work with him. According to reports, Ranveer left the project just before the shooting of the film began, causing huge losses to the producer’s side. FWICE has taken a strict stand on this issue and has called it a dangerous trend for the industry. Now this matter is not just a film controversy but has become a big issue of debate on professional commitment in the entire industry.
FWICE jumps into ‘Don 3’ controversy
After the growing dispute between Ranveer Singh and Excel Entertainment, FWICE intervened in the matter. According to reports, the actor left Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s film ‘Don 3’ just before the shooting started. On Monday, the Federation announced its decision in front of the media and issued non-cooperation instructions against Ranveer Singh. Under this, instructions have been given to the industry not to work with actors.
Ashok Pandit said- ‘This is a very wrong trend’
FWICE Chief Advisor Ashok Pandit described the matter as very serious. He said, “This is a very serious matter and this trend is absolutely wrong. You cannot walk out of a project 10 days before the shooting starts. We are first holding an internal meeting and then taking a decision.” When asked about the direction the decision could take, he said, “We will do what is right at this time. We will not let the industry be ruined. Anyone can leave the film tomorrow. Whatever we do, we will do it in the interest of the industry.”
The decision came after a big meeting of FWICE
According to reports, FWICE President BN Tiwari, Chief Advisor Ashok Pandit, Honorary General Secretary Ashok Dubey and Treasurer Gangeshwarlal Srivastava held an important meeting on this matter. After the meeting, a press conference was held and information about the Federation’s decision was given. It is believed that the film’s delay and increasing losses have increased the concern of industry organizations.
The matter reached the Producers Guild
The ‘Don 3’ controversy has already reached the Producers Guild of India. According to reports, several senior producers tried to broker a reconciliation between the two parties. It was reported that Excel Entertainment had spent a huge amount on the pre-production of the film and many big plans had been locked. However, the final decision regarding the settlement has not been taken yet.
