Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Book 6 Edge, marking the company’s first laptop powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon X2 Elite platform.

The new premium laptop combines powerful AI capabilities, a high-resolution AMOLED display, and seamless integration with the Galaxy ecosystem.

Samsung claims the device is designed to boost productivity while delivering impressive battery life of up to 22 hours of video playback on a single charge.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Edge is priced at $2,099.99 (approximately Rs. 1.98 lakh) in the United States. It is currently offered in a single configuration featuring 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of onboard storage. The laptop is available for purchase exclusively through Samsung’s official online store in the US.

Samsung has not yet announced the availability of the Galaxy Book 6 Edge in other global markets, including India. Details regarding regional pricing and launch timelines are expected to be revealed in the coming months. The company has also not disclosed any additional colour variants at the time of launch.

Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Edge Specifications and Features

The Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Edge features a 16-inch WQXGA+ (2,880 x 1,800 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED 2X touchscreen display with support for an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The screen comes with an anti-reflective coating, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, and Samsung’s Vision Booster technology that automatically adjusts brightness and contrast based on surrounding lighting conditions.

Powering the laptop is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E-88-100 processor, paired with an Adreno GPU and a Hexagon NPU capable of delivering up to 80 TOPS of AI performance. The device includes 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB eUFS storage, with additional expansion available via a MicroSD card slot. It runs Windows 11 Home out of the box.

For multimedia, the Galaxy Book 6 Edge is equipped with a quad-speaker system featuring Dolby Atmos and Smart Amp technology. It also includes a dual-array digital microphone and a 2-megapixel webcam for video calls. Security features include a fingerprint scanner, Trusted Platform Module (TPM), and Samsung Knox protection.

Connectivity options comprise Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, HDMI 2.1, USB 3.2, USB 4.0, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The laptop weighs 1.55kg, measures 12.3mm in thickness, and houses a 61.8Wh battery with support for 65W USB Type-C fast charging.
