In 2008, Juhi along with her husband, and close friend, actor Shah Rukh Khan bought IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for $75.09 million (approximately Rs 630 crore). According to Forbes, the current value of KKR is around $1.1 billion (approximately Rs 9,139 crore).

Before that, Juhi Chawla and Shah Rukh Khan jointly founded a production house, called Dreamz Unlimited. They bankrolled three projects together but eventually parted ways due to internal conflicts, as per Indian Express report. She then launched her own company, Juhi Chawla Productions Private Limited, with filmmaker Aziz Mirza. Also, she is a shareholder in one of the companies named, Saurashtra Cement Ltd, owned by her husband Jay Mehta’s Mehta Group.
