Mumbai (Maharashtra) At the inaugural ceremony of India Maritime Week 2025, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that Maharashtra has played an important role in strengthening the maritime power of the country. He said that the Ports and JNPA of India’s financial capital Mumbai have taken the country’s business development to new heights. Fadnavis said that under the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the construction work of Vadhavan Port has started, which after completion will be included in the top 10 largest ports of the world. He said that the Maharashtra government has implemented Shipbuilding Policy 2025 to promote domestic manufacturing and infrastructure. The Chief Minister invited global investors to be a part of this “maritime development journey” by associating with Maharashtra and India.
