Noida.A big announcement has been made before season-2 of Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League (UPKL). Now a new team named ‘Purvanchal Panthers’ has been added to the league. This team is considered a symbol of the culture, passion and strength of Purvanchal. After the joining of this team, there are a total of 11 teams in UPKL.

Who is the owner of ‘Purvanchal Panthers’ team?

Purvanchal Panthers is owned by Arnav Gupta (Director, Citiano De Resource Exim Pvt. Ltd.) and Aaradhya Gupta (Director, Citiano De Firenze). Both the young entrepreneurs are a great combination of sports and business world. Arnav Gupta has raised India’s name in international business, while Aaradhya Gupta is running several initiatives related to hospitality and sports promotion. Both have resolved to give a platform to regional talent by having a team in the Kabaddi League.

New season will start from December 25, Noida will become the center of Kabaddi

UPKL Season-2 will start from 25 December 2025 in Noida. This time a total of 11 teams will participate and the matches will be more exciting than before. The player auction will be held on November 3 in Noida, where bidding will be held on more than 500 players.
