CM Mohan Yadav’s strict message in Jabalpur meeting – criminals, drugs and illegal activities will be curbed

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, in the meeting of officials in Jabalpur, gave instructions for strict action against law and order, drugs, land mafia and criminals. He stressed on giving priority to public hearing, development, employment and social harmony.

Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that all necessary steps should be taken to ensure law and order in the division and strict action should be taken by running a campaign against drugs. He said that strict action should be taken against the person who commits crime repeatedly. Make a list of miscreants and keep an eye on them. Any kind of negligence regarding drugs will not be tolerated. The Chief Minister directed that like Jabalpur and Narsinghpur, other districts should also launch a campaign against drugs. He said that the Superintendent of Police should maintain complete control in his district so that incidents like Seoni do not happen again.

Ensure transportation of patients to government hospitals

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that it should be ensured that the patients are taken to government hospitals. He said that some drivers take patients to private hospitals, which should be monitored. The Chief Minister said that examples of public cooperation should be presented and good social workers and public representatives should be taken into confidence. He asked the officers to take night rest in villages and take action against the sale of illegal liquor at dhabas on the highway.

Collector’s active role in public hearing

The Chief Minister asked all the collectors to sit in the public hearing themselves and resolve the applications received. Work on the basis of assembly wise vision document and ensure documentation of the district. He gave instructions to promote adventure and employment based activities and said that “self-reliant Madhya Pradesh” has to be linked to “self-reliant India”.

Emphasis on development and social harmony

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that programs for social harmony should be organized and development activities should be given priority. He gave instructions to organize development based events on 31 October (Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Jayanti), 1 November (Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day) and 15 November (Lord Birsa Munda Jayanti). He talked about connecting the youth with self-reliant Madhya Pradesh and promoting sports and social programs.

Strict action against banned medicines, cow smuggling and land mafia

The Chief Minister directed to take effective action against banned medicines and cow smuggling. He said that state action should be taken against those criminals who have acquired property by committing crimes. Strict steps should be taken against land mafia and orders of District Badar should be followed.

Development committee model and promotion of talents

The Chief Minister said that a development committee model should be formed in the district so that overall development can be ensured. Also, good talents should be identified and encouraged.

Attendance and Presentations of High Officials

ACS Sanjay Dubey, ADJ, Divisional Commissioner Dhananjay Singh, IG of Jabalpur and Balaghat, DIG, all collectors, Superintendent of Police, DFO, CEO District Panchayat and other officials were present in the meeting. Divisional Commissioner Shri Singh gave a presentation on the priorities of the government which included topics like agriculture, soybean price change, paddy procurement, fertilizer distribution, take home ration, industrial policy, revenue innovation, maternal and child health etc. IG Pramod Verma gave information on law and order and crime control in the division. IG Balaghat presented details of activities related to Naxal eradication. Collectors gave information about the development works and priorities of their districts.
