NEET Re Exam 2026 Scam Alert: Has the link for NEET Re Exam 2026 been found on WhatsApp or Telegram? Do you know the difference between real and fake admit card? Have you also received any PDF or paper leak claims? Know what are the 5 big signs of scam?
NEET Scam Alert: NEET UG 2026 re-exam is scheduled to be held on June 21 and in the meantime, fake admit cards, fake PDF files and scam links are being spread rapidly on social media platforms, especially WhatsApp and Telegram. National Testing Agency (NTA) has advised students to be cautious and clarified that every official information related to the examination is released only through NTA website and official notice. In view of the cases of fake “paper leak” claims and cyber fraud related to the examination, the government has decided to impose a temporary ban on Telegram and also ban its message-editing feature. In such a situation, it has become very important for the candidates to understand how to differentiate between real and fake information.
Check the website URL carefully
If any link has been sent to you in the name of “NEET Admit Card Download” or “Latest Exam Update”, then first check its URL. Do not trust any unknown domain, short link or suspicious website other than the official website of NTA. Scammers often try to steal student information by creating fake sites that look like the official website.
Check the source of PDF file
Do not immediately accept a PDF file sent on WhatsApp or Telegram as valid. If the PDF has come from an unknown number, channel or group and has claims like “paper leaked”, “secret question paper” or “re-exam paper”, then ignore it as fake. NTA has clearly stated that the exam question paper is not available outside the secure process.
Be careful if there is any offer asking for money
If any person or channel claims that he will provide re-exam paper, admit card or special information for money, then it is a direct sign of fraud. In many cases, demands ranging from thousands to lakhs of rupees have been made from students.
Pay attention to hasty language in messages
Messages like “Download now”, “Last chance”, “Link will close in 30 minutes” or “Pay immediately” are common tactics of cyber fraudsters. Official agencies never share information under such pressure.
Trust only official notices
Confirm any information related to NEET Re-Exam 2026 from NTA’s official notice, website or registered communication channels. Do not consider social media posts, forwarded messages or unverified screenshots as the final truth.
Most important advice for NEET students
Experts say that the risk of cyber fraud and wrong information is highest at the time of examination. In such a situation, it is very important to check the authenticity of any link before clicking on it, downloading the document or making payment. If you find any suspicious message, report it immediately and get exam related information only from official sources. NEET UG 2026 re-exam will be held on June 21 as per schedule. Candidates are advised to stay away from rumors and focus on their preparation.
