Recently, in a chat show on Netflix, director Farah Khan shared this interesting anecdote. Akshay Kumar, Farah Khan, Rajpal Yadav and director Priyadarshan were seen together in the chat show. During the conversation, Farah Khan told that the shooting of ‘Tees Maar Khan’ was being done in Malshej area of Maharashtra, which is located about two and a half hours away from Mumbai. The entire team used to stay there, but Akshay Kumar used to return to his home every day after the shooting was over and reached the set on time the next morning. Rajpal Yadav is surprised to hear this and asks how he was able to do this. So Akshay replied smilingly, ‘By helicopter.’
Farah made fun, Akshay gave a funny reply
Farah Khan laughingly said that this was the first time she had seen an actor using a helicopter as a taxi. However, he also admitted that Akshay always reached the set before time. For the 8 am call time, he used to be at the location at around 7:45 am.
On this, Akshay Kumar said jokingly, ‘What’s the problem, I myself was the producer.’ Farah immediately replied, ‘I was also a producer, he ate my money.’ After this, Akshay quipped, ‘You have earned the most money from this film.’
The earnings of ‘Tees Maar Khan’ surprised everyone
Even though ‘Tees Maar Khan’ did not receive much appreciation from critics at the time of its release, the film performed well at the box office. Made with a budget of around Rs 45 crore, the film did a worldwide business of around Rs 102 crore.

The star cast of the film was strong
Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif were in the lead roles in the film. Apart from these, actors like Akshay Khanna, Rajpal Yadav, Raghu Ram, Rajiv Laxman, Ali Asgar, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Apara Mehta and Arya Babbar were also seen. Whereas Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Farah Khan and Chunky Pandey played cameo roles.
