Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath distributed relief material among the flood victims in the Auraiya Collectorate premises. He also handed over checks and certificates to the beneficiaries of various government schemes. He also provided financial assistance of four lakh rupees to three families suffering from loss of life.

CM Yogi said that there is a flood situation in 21 districts of the state. 16 teams of NDRF, 18 of SDRF and 31 teams of PAC Flood Unit have been deployed for relief work. In flood affected areas, more than 1250 boats are being transported to safe places.

More than 5000 families affected in 12 villages of Auraiya, water level of Yamuna up 4.5 meters

The Chief Minister said that more than 5000 families in 12 revenue villages of Auraiya district are affected by floods. The normal danger mark of the Yamuna River is 113 meters, but at present the water level has reached four and a half meters above. The water released from Dholpur in Rajasthan to the Chambal River worsened the situation.
