Mahua Assembly Election 2025: Mahua Vidhan Sabha Seat is counted among the hottest seats in Vaishali district of Bihar. The caste equation here is very interesting. 2020: RJD’s victory even in the absence of Tej Pratap

Mahua Assembly Election 2020 was special because Lalu Prasad Yadav’s elder son Tej Pratap Yadav was not in the field. In his place, Mukesh Kumar Roshan (RJD) contested the elections and registered a landslide victory. He got 62,747 votes while JDU’s Aashma Parveen got 48,977 votes.

  • Note: LJP’s Sanjay Kumar Singh got 25,198 votes, which upset the equation and caused loss to JDU.

2015: Tej Pratap Yadav’s explosive entry

Mahua election 2015 was historic for Lalu family. Tej Pratap Yadav (RJD) contested the elections for the first time and won by a huge margin. He got 66,927 votes while Ravindra Rai (HAMS) got only 38,772 votes.

2010: JDU’s dominance in NDA wave

There was a wave of Nitish Kumar in Mahua assembly elections 2010. Ravindra Rai (JDU) got 46,309 votes defeating RJD’s Jageshwar Rai, who got only 24,384 votes.
