Madhya Pradesh government has shown a strict stance in the case of molestation of foreign women cricketers in Indore. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has given instructions to file a charge sheet soon after the arrest of the accused and give him strict punishment.
Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh government has taken a strict stance on the incident of molestation of foreign women cricket players in Indore. Ministers Vishwas Sarang and Krishna Gaur said that the state government will not tolerate such acts under any circumstances. Taking cognizance of the incident, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has directed to take prompt and strict action against the accused.
Accused arrested, strict action will be taken
Minister Vishwas Sarang said that any inappropriate behavior with the foreign women players who have come to the soil of Madhya Pradesh is unacceptable. He said that the accused has been arrested and a case has been registered against him. The culprit will be given such punishment that no one can even think of doing such a thing in future.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav took immediate cognizance
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav himself took information about the entire incident and instructed the officials to file a charge sheet against the accused soon and get the harshest punishment from the court. He has included this case in the category of ‘marked crime’, so that the investigation and challan can be completed quickly.
Special public prosecutor appointed for effective advocacy in court
The government has given instructions to appoint a special public prosecutor for effective prosecution of the case. The district administration has been asked to request the court that the matter should be resolved on the basis of top priority.
‘Zero tolerance on women’s respect and safety’- Vishwas Sarang
Vishwas Sarang said that the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is working on “zero tolerance” policy for women’s respect, safety and justice. He said that women are considered revered in Indian culture and ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ is a part of our tradition. The incident that happened with foreign women players is against our values and social values.
‘Safety of foreign guests is our responsibility’- Krishna Gaur
Women and Child Development Minister Krishna Gaur said that foreign guests are guests of our country, it is the responsibility of the government to protect them and respect them. He said that on the instructions of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Indore Police took immediate action and arrested the accused. Krishna Gaur said that the BJP government will ensure that the culprit is punished as soon as possible. He appealed to the people that if any inappropriate incident happens, they should immediately inform the administration.
Government fully dedicated to the safety and respect of women
Minister Krishna Gaur said that the law and order situation in the state is completely intact and under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the government is working with full sensitivity for the safety and respect of women. He said that the case will be prosecuted through the Special Public Prosecutor and the court will be requested to punish the accused soon.
