Bihar CGL Recruitment 2025: Graduates of Bihar have a great opportunity to get a government job. Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has taken out 1,481 vacancies for various posts under Graduate Level Combined Competitive Examination i.e. BSSC CGL 2025. Eligible and interested candidates for this recruitment will be able to apply through the official website bssc.bihar.gov.in from 18 August 2025. The last date to apply is 17 September 2025.
BSSC CGL Eligibility 2025: Who can apply?
The graduate level of BSSC CGL should be 21 years the minimum age of candidates applying for this recruitment. The maximum age has been fixed at 37 years for the general category. Reserved classes will get age relaxation as per government rules. Talking about educational qualifications and technical qualifications, it is different for every post. For this, candidates must read official notifications.
BSSC CGL Exam Pattern 2025: What will be the method of exam, which subjects will come from questions
According to the official notification issued, if the applications come more than 40,000, the Commission will conduct objective type prelims exam. Based on this examination, five times the candidates of the vacancy will be shortlisted for the men’s exam. Talking about the pattern of preliminary examination, there will be a total of 150 questions in the exam. There will be 4 marks for every question. There will be a negative marking of 1 digit if the wrong answer. You will get 2 hours and 15 minutes to solve the paper. Talking about the subject, questions will be asked from General Studies, Science-Maths and Mental Ability. The question paper will be in both Hindi and English languages. In case of a dispute, the English version will be considered correct.

BSSC CGL 2025: Will be allowed to carry these books at the exam center?
This time the special thing about the examination is that candidates will be allowed to take books along. But the condition is that only three books have to be taken. Each General Studies, Science or Maths and Mental Ability. Books should only be of NCERT, BSEB or ICSE board. However, jewelery like guide books, notes, photocopies, electronic devices will be completely banned inside the exam hall.
