Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely in hilly areas of Coimbatore and Nilgiris districts, while heavy rain is expected in Theni, Tenkasi, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Vellore, Tirupattur, Tiruvannamalai, Kanchipuram, Villupuram, Kallakurichi, and Puducherry.
