Nothing Phone (3) and Headphone (1) launching Tonight: Specs, design, and how to watch

New Delhi: Nothing, based in London, is about to release its newest flagship, the Nothing Phone (3), tonight at 10:30 PM IST. The live streaming of the launch event will be streamed on the official Nothing webpage and YouTube channel. As well as the smartphone, the brand is also likely to present its initial over-ear headphones, the Nothing Headphone (1).

The Phone (3) is a big change in design and performance for the brand. It may use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and a brand new design known as the Glyph Matrix. As opposed to its predecessors, the Phone (3) is expected to be more powerful, have longer software support, and have a polished design that will be developed with so-called premium materials, as CEO Carl Pei announced.

Nothing Phone (3) specs (expected)

Leaving the common Glyph interface behind, the Nothing Phone (3) features a “Glyph Matrix” on the back panel, which could be a programmable LED grid like that of the ASUS ROG devices. It still has the see-through back with a triple camera arrangement but a new 50 MP main camera, 50 MP telephoto, and an ultrawide sensor. The phone may also feature a 5,150 mAh battery, unlike the current hype around carbon silicon technology.

Nothing Headphone (1)

The Nothing Headphone (1) is not officially announced yet, but it has already been leaked, featuring a transparent body with the branding of Sound by KEF. The earcups are squircle-shaped, with a visual design resembling cassette tapes. Designer Tom Ridley alluded to the fact that the headphones are meant to show individuality and advance the design philosophy of the brand.

Nothing Phone (3) expected price

Nothing has been confirmed that the Phone (3) will get 5 years of operating system updates and 7 years of security updates. The price of the UK version is expected to be 800 pounds (Rs 90,000), whereas the India launch price is expected to be in the range of 50,000 to 60,000 rupees. This may render the Phone (3) an attractive choice in the premium Android market.
